How to Build Your Balloon Garland
What’s Needed:
- Balloons
- Electric balloon pump
- Glue dots or low-temp glue gun (for adding accents)
Step 1: Plan your design by sorting your balloons by color and size.
Step 2: Use an electric balloon pump to inflate the balloons. Tie two balloons together at the neck to form pairs.
Step 3: Take two balloon pairs and twist them together to form a quad. Continue adding more pairs by twisting into the center to make clusters of balloons. One cluster should consist of 6-8 12″ balloons and 1 18″ balloon.
Step 4: Once you have your clusters made, reach inside and grab the neck of one of the clusters and tie a knot with the neck of another cluster. Continue to add clusters together to make a garland until you reach your desired length.
Step 5: Use glue dots or a low-temp glue gun to stick the 5″ balloons onto the garland into the gaps and add dimension. Now your garland is ready for hanging!
